Housing Works’ Mission is to create housing and service options, that model sustainable, environmentally sensitive and affordable communities for people of limited resources, while promoting respect and dignity for all residents.

CC-LA hosts their ongoing wellness initiatives for staff, especially front-line workers in Los Angeles that include sound bath meditations, massages, workshops on emotional regulation, yoga, and more. Read more about Housing Works here.

SCLC-SC is a nonprofit, non-sectarian, inter-faith, advocacy organization that is committed to nonviolent action to achieve social, economic, and political justice. Hurting and Hungry Charities – an outreach arm of SCLC-SC – works to rescue food and other necessities for redistribution to under-resourced areas in Los Angeles. Working with supermarkets and other providers, Hungry and Hurting Families meets the needs of their community members.

Since 1997, Dr. Simi has been a symbol of accessible and dignified healthcare for millions of families in Mexico. What started as a mission to provide low-cost generic medicines and medical consultations has evolved into a cultural phenomenon – a brand that represents empathy, community and the belief that health is a right, not a privilege. Simi Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in need through

CleanSlate assists clients with tattoo removal and their efforts to move forward in their lives, supporting clients ranging from survivors of domestic violence, to those impacted by the justice system. CleanSlate is first and foremost, a therapeutic process. They assist with the “changing of the package” while providing support of the process of self-understanding and acceptance. Most of the people served are marginalized – gang members, felons, survivors of violence from any source.
